Round Head

Rounds of American Idol's Lil Read this article!

Yesterday evening I saw this week's American Idol performances and took notes on everything to my selection Rounds favored Lil '. I must say I was very disappointed because, in fact, this was his worst performance to date! I want the song says, everything was wrong, wrong, wrong style, low-yield stage, everything! And that the only other performance very badly that night by Guy Scott blind (I mean it really sucked) I would be surprised if they made a tour next week (no pun). Results of examinations and review in my head, I saw several things wrong key had not done before and do not understand why it does now. But more importantly I saw was a big mistake lack of foresight and planning on your part.

Now I know it's Counselor Rounds Lil 'but must be dissolved because they are helping your competition to be considered in a song like "What Love Got to Do With It", which was a great success in the year of his birth, but it was a good choice for her. That is not so good song musically and him out of his comfort zone. 'What's Love Got To Do With It "is a perfect example of a mediocre song led by a superior singer. Tina Turner has this song because it's one of the few singers you can take this so-so song and make it shine. For a singer like Lil'Rounds whose strength is in the R & B Hip-Hop Song Veign would have a drastic rearrangement so that works for her. While talented, not the kind of singer who sings only "something" and make some noise. The song must be sealed with a song so boring it would be difficult for her to withdraw. My own experience of doing cover songs of other artists I've encountered in many of them I had to turn the whole thing, so I would be in my comfort zone and you come out with a good performance and this song is one of those songs. About the only person who could sing this song and pull it out of Aretha Franklin is not as bad as it seems. But someone who gives bad advice and you need to quickly identify if there is back for another week. If you do, I share some of the things I learned from my experience as a director and member of the band to help her and everyone who else the scene.

1) Prepare. Fully prepare for action in all respects. Know your song, you know Well, sure in the fundamental law and practice so much he could sing again if asked. Learn to perform on stage, be familiar with the acoustics, how many feet is the scene of the front, rear and sides, and meet musicians who are backing up. Go to them and respond to each and every one of them and do well for yourself, be polite and show respect. And if there is something I have not mentioned here, so do! Fully prepared!

2) Know your sound. Each singer can not sing at all genera, but can take a song and make it their own and they often take a radical change agreement. Do not be afraid to something in their own comfort cultivation. I remember when I had to accelerate to Bob Marley "No Woman, No Cry" to my taste. He has worked best for me this way.

3) Stay in your comfort zone. This means not taking risks, but goes back to knowledge of sound. You have to do a song comfortable for you, because if it is then you can really rock and shake the crowd. Sometimes this means changing the songs too. Remember that trying to sing Journey "Separate Ways" and not only worked for me and for people not to work either. So instead replaced song "Lights" Journey and it worked perfectly. You have to do what you do.

4) Do not try so hard. If a part is giving a lot of trouble, which happens to your device. You may like it and I want to sing, but if that does not leave him alone.

In essence, these rules are very simple and often these are simple things that are most important, especially in the scene. Remember that less is more for a heart song takes you beyond all the technical expertise in the world.

One last thing to all the singers out there, Remember that singing is the strongest song is not always better! You must learn to mix hard the meek, for different songs demand different rates sometimes in a song! Because it can sing loud and the sound does not mean anything good if you can not sing in a low voice and sound as good. He comes to practice, but you will learn with time that control of his vocal instrument is knowing how to sing in the octave lower can, as above and the sound.
