How dangerous is it to travel with standard plastic gas cans in your car? What are the interior car heat limitations when transporting plastic gas cans over distances?

i don’t know that there are any regs for that because people will do whatever they want irregardless and that would be hard to control. however you’re biggest concern in transportating gasoline would be spark, not heat. gasoline is not very flammable. but the vapor is. what you want to avoid is static charge.
