How to hold fake teeth in place?

I recently bought fake teeth for a costume, however “denture mixture” that was given does not even hold, it is more like putty.
If so, is there a home-made way of making some sort of compound mixture or should i buy denture paste?

Denture paste works pretty well. You could use that, and it’s probably easier than trying to make your own mixture.
