I won ‘Early Entry’ into a small-venue concert, does that mean….?
Basically, I won early entry to a small venue show (300 people) for a relatively small pop-punk band. Is this ‘early entry’ equivalent to a meet and greet with the band? The email I received told me to show up AT LEAST an hour before the show started.
It probably just means you will be allowed to enter the venue ahead of the general gate opening time. I’m going to assume there is no assigned seating, so hopefully you will be able to get fairly close before the rest of the crowd is allowed through the gates.
Most “meet and greets” happen a few hours before the event starts. Generally an hour before show time wouldn’t allow you much time to meet the band.
Sorry to dissapoint you, but hope you enjoy the show!
