Should arylic/perspex be cut with a panel saw or hacksaw?

Basically should it be cut witha wood saw or plastic saw?

They make fine teeth for sabre saws and sawzalls and table saws (for the blades). This is what you need to use. Some blades are even marked “Plastic” on them – which also cuts very fine finish like parts for wood drawers.

I normally use my table saw when I cut acylic and a this kind of fine blade. Since the acyric is normally used as my 2nd step (first I make one out of cardboard) in making a window pattern for a street rod, I can shape the corners easily because the turning blade act as a sander with the acylic.

Takes a very short time & you can get it perfect. So not only can you cut rectangles, if you are very careful with a table saw (or a bandsaw with fine teeth) you can make some really creative pieces.
