What the heck do I do with all of the phone and cable wiring in the garage?!?

Hey All,
In the corner of my garage up high is an old phone junction housing with a bunch of wires just kind of hanging, then the actual phone wiring runs from the corner to the opposite corner into the house. There is also a spot where the cable company poked a hole above the garage-to-patio door and ran tv cable out and across the wall “stapled” to the dang wall! What’s a nice way of cleaning up the mess while being frugal? Do they make crown moulding that is hallow inside so you can run wiring in it?! Any suggestions? Want the garage to look finished like another room in the house! thanks!!!!

To answer your question, crown is installed so only the top and bottom edges contact the ceiling and wall. It is hollow behind. Is it the best option in a garage? Probably not. With the change in humidity, it will expand and contract, which will cause buckling or gaps. Look into Wiremold. It’s available from any home center or electrical supply house. It will effectively hide the loose cables and give them a finished look. Hope this helps.
