Carpenter Pencils
retractable flash drive case thingamajig?

somebody stole my flash drive because i was careless, and it had all my school work for the past 4 years on it.

i dont want that to happen again. my uncle has this retractable cord that he attaches to his belt, and there is a rubber thing on the end where he attaches a carpenters pencil on it (he is in construction).

so i was wondering, this would be a good idea so i wont lose any more flashdrives. if anybody knows what im talking about, will the retractable cord my uncle uses work with a flash drive?

or is there anything similar to what im asking that will work?

p,s i dont care about looking like a nerd, i dont want to lose my flash drive again :P

You can attach a lanyard and a piece of leather twine or fishing line to it. Wouldn’t trust the retractable chain as it might pull your flash drive out while you are using it.
